The mat combines the power of infrared which increase the circulation of your blood and lymph, and the power of negative ions which empty out your cell's "garbage" into your circulation systems. The mat's infrared penetrates into your body's tissues approximately to 4-6 inches verses a regular sauna which is about 1-2". This combination makes it a powerful detox. Essential oil infused hot towels and dry towels will be available for you to wipe yourself off after the session.
